As usual, it’s man crush Monday and I can’t wait to introduce our man crush for this week. He’s a charming young man, a talented nigerian television and film actor, a model, voice-over artiste and a master of events. Give it all up for Daniel k. Daniel, popularly called DKD. He’s best known for his portrayal of the heroic yet antagonistic Ovaiwe in the Amstel Malta Box Office produced feature film “The Child“.
DKD started his modeling career in 2009 while in the university, he landed his very first acting job in the television series “All About Us, he then got cast for a BBC (British Broadcasting Corporation) movie titled Sarah’s choice. Daniel took a break in his new found acting career in February 2010 to go for his National Youth Service, he then worked with the Independence National Electoral Commission in Abuja as part of his youth service.
DKD returned to acting in 2011 after his youth service program and starred in a lot of blockbuster movies like Under which was shot in Ghana, Ivie, same difference, paint my life, Tempest, Lions of 76, jujuwood, devil in red, mummy dearest and a lot more.
DKD, in 2014 was nominated for the City People Awards and Best Nollywood Awards (BON), he went on to win those awards, he also won the award for the best actor in a drama at the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCAs) 2016 edition, for his role in the Nigerian war thriller “A solder’s story”
