DREAMS COME IN DIFFERENT SHAPES

Dreams they come
Some cold, others in flames
Floating through,
people we meet without names
But to dream, some don’t,
for others it’s a norm

I caught a figure in one of my dreams
It had the shape of a woman,
it knew my name
I sailed my ship on rocks,
for drought brought no rain,
no stream
But with the skies dark,
we feared for storm,
we forgot the rain

Check out our last poem Here

I float almost seamlessly
through consciousness
Their numbers multiplied,
in my veins they pumped
I felt the air, not wind
and its freshness
With my sensitivity heightened,
at each sound I jumped

You see, people they scare me
Devils don’t, neither do demons
From all these I long to be free
Not to slave for anyone,
not even Mormon.
